Delta Gov’s Security Aide Udoka Preaches Unity, Says True Leaders Don’t Divide”
By Henry Ubus.
The Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Security Matters, Engr. Emmanuel Udoka, has emphasized the need for leaders to prioritize unity and collective progress above personal or sectional interests. Udoka made the remark on his social media platforms, asserting that true leadership is defined by the ability to bring people together rather than divide them.
According to him, leadership should serve as a bridge that connects people, promotes harmony, and strengthens trust within communities and institutions. He noted that leaders who sow division only weaken the foundations of development, while those who promote inclusiveness inspire growth and stability.
“A true leader doesn’t divide people. A true leader brings people together,” Udoka wrote, stressing that genuine progress can only be achieved when leaders foster peace, cooperation, and mutual respect.
His comment, which has continued to generate positive reactions online, is seen by many as a timely reminder on the role of leadership in sustaining unity, especially in a diverse state like Delta.
Udoka reaffirmed the commitment of the Governor’s office to continue promoting peace, security, and unity across the state.
